Everyone woman deserves to be remember for just how beautiful and sexy she truly is.  This beauty does not end at 30, 40, 50 or even 60 and beyond.  Nor does it require you to be a size 2 and 5’10″.

My clients for boudoir photography in Phoenix are real women.  Each has “imperfections” that they arrived concerned about.   From stretch marks to a little extra junk in the trunk.  With careful posing, lighting and some retouching, they look just look those iconic magazine images that everyone sets as a goal.

Sometimes when creating great boudoir, it is about capturing the natural beauty and not fancy sets or props.  This was one of my favorite shots from a recent  photo shoot.  As a photographer I very often like to create b&w photos as I feel they add to the mood.

Fine art nudes are often the favorite shots for my boudoir clients.  They can also be some of the hardest to do well.  A photographer has to know exactly how to work with light to make the photographs come to life.  The shadows need to follow at exactly the right place.   Maybe you will find this style a perfect addition to your photo session.

Boudoir photography a fun chance to play out some fantasies. Everybody has some sexy fantasies. With some planning you can create a fantasy or two during your boudoir photo session. You might even create a new one.  Here are some of the classics to get you started.

Always popular is the naughty schoolgirl. Outfits include a short, typically red plaid skirt, a white halter top or shirt tied to a halter, and a variety of shoes and stockings or white knee high socks. Props include books, pens, rulers, suckers and glasses. Movies like “House Bunny” keep this one popular. The other side is naughty teacher.

Of course Cheerleader is another classic with the obvious outfit. Props are  pompoms. Often the pompoms the only thing you need to create the fantasy, which we have in our studio.

The naughty nurse or doctor fantasy is another popular choice. Outfits can be scrubs, a classic white nurse’s dress with stockings or a white lab coat. Props include stethoscopes, thermometers, tongue depressors, and bandages.

Then we find the bad and sexy secretary who just can’t seem to type. Short skirts and tops with button fronts are typically all that’s needed.  I’m sure he will want you to sit on his lap and work a little overtime.

How about cooking wearing nothing but an apron – watch out for the hot grease.  And the maid who cleans more than the house.  Both are common ideas that seem to run through a man’s mind.

Then there is the movie classic, wearing nothing but an overcoat just for him him. We can create a wide variety of photographs with just an overcoat.

Is he a fan of Mardi Gras?  Plenty of beads and your “flasher” top is all you need.  Then add a feathered mask to go from Bourbon Street to your boudoir.

Librarians, biker gals, ski bunnies, sports illustrated bikini model, Victoria’s Secret Angels, TV characters, hookers, massage therapist, nudist, delivery girl, mechanic, cowgirl, military, cigars, police, fire, construction worker, hitchhiker the list goes on and on. The only limits are your imagination. Think about what interests he has, and bet you can find a fantasy that fits it.

And of course you can use the session to show some of your fantasies too.
